Community Outreach

Sandy Springs Racquet Center

Community Outreach programs provide opportunities to those who might not be exposed to the sport of tennis.

Nothing is more important to our partners, coaches, and staff than making a difference in the communities where we live and work.

The Sandy Springs Racquet Center supports the local community through donations of thousands of dollars in court time and other services annually to 15 area nonprofits and 5 area schools. In addition to 9 weeks of summer camp attracting hundreds of local children to SSTC, we have run a week of camp for underserved children in Sandy Springs and complimentary clinics for more than 200 adults and children at our annual Sandy Springs Tennis Week and Kids Fun Days. We have provided $45,000 annually in training scholarships for juniors with demonstrated need in SSTC’s Academy program. Since 2013, we’ve donated more than 10,000 hours in discounted court time to seniors 65 and up. We continue to work with local businesses and non-profits to sponsor tennis events, grow community and attract new patrons to SSTC with discounted court time and services.
