Mark Jacobson

Mark Jacobson was born in Montreal, Canada, but has lived the majority of his life in Atlanta, Ga. In 1995, He graduated from Walton High School in Marietta and then pursued his college academics and tennis career at Michigan State University from 1996-99. After college, he pursued his tennis career playing the professional tennis circuit in the United States and then later finished off his career playing in Europe mostly in southern France, where he played the French tennis circuit from prize money tournaments to club tennis. He played for Emulation Nautique Tennis Club in Toulouse from 2001-2005 where he traveled anywhere from Paris to the Mediterranean Coast.

Mark has been coaching for 10 years at Sandy Springs Tennis Center where he continues to teach his students the basics from ground strokes, footwork, and court positioning. He continues to serve as a positive role model, through teamwork, sportsmanship, and discipline. He has been teaching a wide variety of programs ranging from Adult Tennis Classes, Junior Academy, and Adult Leagues (USTA and ALTA). Mark has excelled as a teaching pro where he continues to design individualized improvement goals to help his clients reach their potential through his experience in teaching and playing professionally.
