Junior Academy
Program Director - Carlos Barrios and Wendell Troy
The Academy is for juniors who have graduated from the Tennis School and/or who are ready to train for competition. This is the stage when the player connects with the game and gets introduced to shot making. In this program stroke execution, power and movement will be evaluated constantly.
Level I: Those kids who have shown great potential to improve and who have chosen to become “competitors”. Here we focus on having the player rally the ball with correct form and technique.
Level II: Players in this level are prepared for competition at local, state and regional levels. Shot selection, strategy and match play will be the focus of the training. At this level, the training program and the scheduling of tournaments will be given special attention to each individual.
