Junior Holiday Camp

Quickstart Tennis
Director - Terry Flynn

Quickstart is an educational program to help kids discover the feeling and the challenge of playing tennis. Developed and implemented in Europe for the last 20 years has proven its merit to introduce the game of tennis to little kids and give them the chance to have fun doing it. Racquets, balls and nets will be provided. Quickstart Tennis is an easy way to learn tennis and make new friends.

Junior Tennis School
Director - Dan Carozza
The Junior Tennis School prrogram offers introductory and intermediate levels of tennis. Basic strokes and strategy will be covered. Groups are determioned by ability and age. Groups will be limited to 6 students or less per instructor. Each session will consist of instruction, drills and supervised match play. Session will last 1 1/2 hours for 7 consecutive weeks.

Junior Academy
Directors - Carlos Barrios and Wendell Troy
The Academy is for juniors who have graduated from the Tennis School and/or who are ready to train for competition. This is the stage when the player connects with the game and gets introduced to shot making. In this program stroke execution, power and movement will be evaluated constantly.  Level I: Those kids who have shown great potential to improve and who have chosen to become “competitors”. Here we focus on having the player rally the ball with correct form and technique. Level II: Players in this level are prepared for competition at local, state and regional levels. Shot selection, strategy and match play will be the focus of the training. At this level, the training program and the scheduling of tournaments will be given special attention to each individual.

Junior Elite
Director – Ivo Barbic
Junior players with outstanding tennis ability and a commitment to tennis training are selected for our elite program. In this program, coaches focus on preparing players for sectional, national and international tennis tournaments. Players are coached to develop their own style of play, match flow awareness and perfect their stroke technique, strategy and shot selection. Fitness will be incorporated into the training sessions to give our players the best possible chance of competing on the highest level. The program is intended for the committed tennis player who desires more personalized training and accountability
