Carlos Barrios, hometown: Caracas, Venezuela, has over 15 years experience as a teaching professional. He has worked extensively with every level of player, from nationally-ranked professionals to young beginners. He is known for his ability to inspire and motivate his students and build their skills through improved knowledge of tactics, strategy, and stroke development. He is an innovative thinker and excellent communicator with both adult and junior players.

Coaching Experience:
• Director of Tennis Operations at Blackburn Tennis Center, where he
developed and expanded junior and adult league tennis, including USTA,
ALTA, K-Swiss, and T2. He also directed the junior tennis academy.
• Teaching professional at Capital City Country Club, where he taught ALTA and USTA teams and clinics, and private and group lessons.
• Independent teaching professional as owner of CB Sports, Inc., helping neighborhood and metropolitan clubs develop tennis programs.
• Teaching professional, traveling coach, and recruiter at Nick Bollettieri IMG Academies

Carlos’s rankings have included Top 10 in Venezuela in international tournaments and Top 4 in NJCAA while in college.
